Slow. Simple. Celebrity. (SSC)
Final Verdict: The foundation of this movie lies solely on the star quality of legends like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and the Rat Pack to drive each scene. Lots of dialog and a simple script would make this movie just ordinary, but thanks to the A-list celebrities it has become an iconic piece of movie history. It's no where near as stylish, complex, or surprising as the 2001 remake starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but it does have a charm of its own. If you can only watch one though, watch the remake.
Spoilers: Despite the fact that I came into this movie expecting some sort of big twist near the end, I never in a million years would have guessed the ending. Never.
